- Are all of our parts new ?
Yes, 99% of the parts we supply are new with 12 month warranty. In certain situations, spares for discontinued notebooks are hard to find in which case parts may be refurbished to Grade A standard. In these situations, our comprehensive 12 month warranty period still applies.
- Are the parts we supply original Dell parts ?
Yes, all of our spares are Dell original and Dell branded. This includes our range of battery packs. As stock changes constantly due to market forces, sometimes stock can deplete quickly. If this happens, ALS can supply compatible parts to assist you although this will always be clearly stated prior to sale.
- Will the parts we supply affect remaining Dell warranty ?
No, our Dell parts will not affect any remaining Dell warranty at all.
- Can we fit replacement parts to your notebook ?
Yes, by all means. We have an engineering team who will be happy to fit parts to your notebook. Unfortunately, at the present team we are unable to offer this service at your location although we hope to be able to do so in the future. Please contact us to discuss if you wish to take advantage of this service.
- What warranties do we offer ?
We offer a full 12 month warranty with all of our Dell spares, unlike the majority of our competitors who only offer 30-90 day warranty terms. We trust the parts we supply therefore will back them with a full comprehensive warranty schedule.

- Do we offer credit accounts ?
Yes, all organisations are offered the opportunity to open an credit facility upon completion of the necessary paperwork and credit checking.
- Do we accept credit card payments ?
We do. We accept all major credit and debit cards, although at the present time we do not offer online purchasing.
- Are we environmentally aware ?
ALS Ltd recognises the need to take care of our environment. We do our bit by trying to re-use packaging materials as much as possible. Please do not be concerned if you receive goods in packaging that looks a “little tired”, as the contents will be perfect!
- What are Advanced Laptop Solutions opening hours ?
We are open Monday to Friday from 9.00 – 5.30 excluding all UK Public Holidays.
